Before You Head Home

Before pulling away from your campsite, take a few minutes to make sure everything is packed, secured and ready for the road. These final checks can help prevent forgotten items, damage, and problems on the trip home.

Breaking Down Camp

Take your time packing up your campsite. Put away outdoor gear, retract the awning, disconnect utilities, and check the area for anything you may have left behind.

Disconnect and Secure

Disconnect water, sewer, and electrical hookups. Make sure hoses and cords are stored properly, slides and awnings fully retracted, and all outside compartments are closed and locked.

Final Walk-Around

Before pulling out, walk completely around your RV and campsite. Check tires, lights, steps, storage doors, antennas, and anything on the roof. Look under and around the RV for forgotten gear, and make sure the campsite is clean.

Ready for the Road

Make sure everyone is safely inside, seat belts fastened, and loose items inside the RV are secured. Check your mirrors, review your route, and pull out slowly.
